What is Interlocutory decision (decisão interlocutória)?

Also: decisão interlocutória · interlocutory order

An interlocutory decision resolves a question in the course of the case without ending it (art. 203, §2º, of the CPC): it admits or rejects evidence, rules on a preliminary objection, decides an incident. In labor procedure the rule is no immediate appeal (art. 893, §1º, of the CLT, and Súmula 214 of the TST): as a rule the party challenges the interlocutory decision only in the appeal against the judgment.

This concentration of appeals gives labor procedure its own rhythm and requires recording one’s objection at the right moment, on pain of preclusion.

How LABORIS AI uses it

LABORIS AI maps the chain of decisions in each case and flags the points where an interlocutory ruling shifts the case’s likely course, keeping the reading of the process consistent with what was actually decided at each step.
