What is Claim partially granted (procedência parcial)?

Also: procedência parcial · partial award

A partially granted claim upholds only part of what was requested. The judge recognizes the right to a lesser extent — limits the period of overtime, sets a percentage, grants some items and rejects others (art. 487, I, of the CPC). It is the outcome that best reveals the gap between the amount claimed and the amount owed.

That gap is large and systematic. In partial decisions observed across real Labor Court cases, the amount actually granted hovers around one third of what had been requested. Treating the pleading’s figure as the likely liability overstates exposure; only reading what was actually granted — and liquidated — produces an honest number.

How LABORIS AI uses it

LABORIS AI does not confuse the amount claimed with the amount owed: it records the percentage and value actually granted in each partial decision and reconciles them with the liquidation, delivering real exposure rather than the inflated estimate of the pleading.
