What is TST binding precedent summary (súmula do TST)?

A TST precedent summary condenses the court’s settled case law. Issued after repeated decisions in the same direction (art. 702 of the CLT), it distils the TST’s understanding of a controversy. It does not bind absolutely like statute, but carries elevated persuasive authority: contradicting a summary, as a rule, opens a flank to appeal.
