What is Appeal to the TST (recurso de revista)?

An appeal of review is the appeal to the TST against a TRT ruling. It lies for violation of federal law or the Constitution or for conflicting case law (art. 896 of the CLT), with strict requirements (prequestioning, identification of the passage and the violated provision).

Since the Reform, it passes through the transcendence filter (art. 896-A): it is heard only if the case has relevant economic, political, social or legal impact.
